'Qwenputer' builds a 32-bit CPU into a Qwen model's weights
A Qwen ambassador used the model's state as memory so it can run C and MicroPython.

The Qwen team highlighted a project from ambassador @divagr1925 called Qwenputer. It uses the state of Qwen's Gated DeltaNet as memory and builds a 32-bit RISC-V CPU directly into the model's weights.
Instead of predicting the answer to a calculation, the model can execute instructions internally, and it can also run C and MicroPython programs, according to the post.
Why it mattersOn one arithmetic benchmark, accuracy reportedly jumped from 48.6% to 100%. Arithmetic is a known weak spot for language models, which makes this an eye-catching experiment with Qwen's architecture.
