@VaibhavSisinty shared the story of a Reddit user whose wife, a junior software engineer, had been job hunting for almost 10 months, with tailoring a resume for every posting taking ages.

He built Dossier, which finds postings and writes a tailored resume, cover letter and email for each job using only facts from her profile. It tracks every application from draft to offer on a board and runs on your own server, with a local AI model option so data stays with you.

She landed a job with it, so he open-sourced it for free, the post says. It drew about 4,100 likes.
