According to @chetaslua, Kimi K3.1 Pro took 15 minutes to build a demo website in a single attempt, or "one-shot" it. The post framed the result as "welcome to the new era of webdev" and gathered about 1,100 likes.
One-shot means the model produced the finished result from a single prompt, without rounds of corrections. Kimi is a model family from Moonshot AI, and on the same day the Arena leaderboard teased that a new Moonshot model is on the way.
Why it mattersDemos like this are a big part of how new models get judged in public. A single website doesn't prove how a model handles messy real-world projects, but it shows where the bar for AI-built sites is moving.
