A new Kimi model is about to hit the Arena leaderboard

Model leaderboard Arena (@arena) posted that "a new model from @kimi_moonshot is coming," telling followers to "stay tuned for where it lands in the arena." The teaser drew about 1,400 likes.

Arena ranks AI models using head-to-head comparisons voted on by users, and a strong debut there has become an important marketing moment for any new model. Kimi is developed by Moonshot AI.

Why it mattersThe tease arrives as Kimi K3.1 Pro is already getting attention for one-shot web demos, according to another post on today's board. Where the new model places will help show whether the lab can compete at the top of the rankings. The post did not name the model or give a date.
