Author Robin Hobb: "Anthropic stole my books"
The fantasy author's post about the AI company drew about 8,800 likes.
Fantasy author Robin Hobb has publicly accused Anthropic of taking her books.
"Anthropic stole my books. Then it got caught. It didn't say sorry. It was ordered to pay," she wrote, adding that the company then said, in effect, that "the writers have to tell us what we stole."
The post drew about 8,800 likes early Tuesday. It adds a well-known author's voice to the fight between writers and AI labs over training data.
