Russia's embassy in Delhi called out a "South Asia" social media handle for spreading an AI-faked video of foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, according to a post from journalist Sidhant Sibal (@sidhant).
The fake video was about India-Russia ties.
The post drew about 3,800 likes. It is another example of AI deepfakes of senior officials spreading on social media and being called out by governments.
