Swedish grocery giant ICA, one of the country's largest supermarket chains, says several of its stores were hit by a cyberattack overnight.
According to the post, refrigerators and freezers at the affected stores were remotely set to 50°C, likely spoiling large quantities of food.
The ICA report was among the first in a wave of similar incidents that other European countries reported later on Monday.
