Starlink user gets a piracy notice two days after torrenting one episode

A Dutch Starlink user says he got a Paramount piracy notice within two days of torrenting a single episode of Dexter: Resurrection.

Starlink forwarded the notice with a warning that further downloads could get his service suspended or terminated and put him at risk of legal action, according to International Cyber Digest.

The post spread quickly as a reminder that satellite internet providers pass along copyright complaints too.
