A 98-year-old man who bought his first self-driving Tesla Model Y says he is blown away by it, according to a clip shared by Chief Nerd.

"I've been driving it probably 2-3 months, and it's not made an error in its driving," he said. He described the car stopping for a chipmunk crossing the road when there was no other traffic. "For somebody that's 98-years-old, this is a real treat."

Why it mattersOlder drivers are one of the groups that self-driving features are pitched to. Elon Musk also shared the chipmunk moment on Wednesday, writing that "at Tesla, we even care about the chipmunks."
