Discord will make public server messages searchable on Google

Discord will soon make messages in public servers searchable on Google, according to a Dexerto post shared Tuesday afternoon.
Per the post, the feature will be on by default for adult users in the US, and users can opt out through their privacy settings.
Why it mattersChat that many people treated as semi-private could start showing up in search results, so anyone active in public servers may want to check that setting.
