The "pro-AI red pill" hand has six fingers
The internet spotted the giveaway instantly. @CantEverDie: "absolutely perfect."
A post from @CantEverDie pointed out that the hand offering a "pro AI red pill" in an image had six fingers, calling it "absolutely perfect." It drew about 3,800 likes.
Extra or malformed fingers were one of the best-known giveaways of early AI image generators, and they remain a running joke whenever a flawed generated image slips through.
Why it mattersThe irony is the whole point. An image promoting AI accidentally shows one of its classic flaws. Even as image models improve, small errors like these are still how many people spot generated content, and they keep the online back-and-forth between AI fans and skeptics lively.
