SpaceX is partnering with Qualcomm to help build Starlink Mobile's nationwide ground-based 5G network, with deployment starting in 2027, according to Sawyer Merritt (@SawyerMerritt).

Under the multi-year deal, SpaceX plans tens of thousands of cell sites across the US, powered by Qualcomm's Dragonwing QRU100 and QDU100 platforms. The network will use 64T64R Massive MIMO technology and lays groundwork for future AI-native 6G.

The post drew about 6,400 likes. Elon Musk's reaction drew far more.
