A real-time classifier built on EmbeddingGemma 2
A community project learns new categories on the fly and runs locally.
Google Gemma (@googlegemma) highlighted a community project that trains a lightweight classifier on top of EmbeddingGemma 2 in real time.
Because the model is compact and natively multimodal, it can learn new categories on the fly and classify inputs locally in about 20ms for text and about 100ms for images, without a full multimodal LLM.
