Linux now beats macOS on Apple silicon GPU memory bandwidth, according to Joshua Warren (@JoshuaSWarren).
On an M1 Max running Omarchy, he reports macOS at 361 GB/s, Linux at 241 GB/s before the fix and 368 GB/s after. The cause: the kernel never told the power controller the GPU was busy, and one bit fixed it.
