Hydrogen-1.0 has been introduced as an open-weight model for scientific research, post-trained from GLM-5.3 on internal scientific data, lab records and discovery trajectories.

It scores 38.3% on FrontierScience-Research against GPT-6-Astra's 33.3%, and 93.0% on GPQA-Diamond, according to the announcement.

The team argues science should be open and collaborative, and that only open weights let researchers inspect, adapt and build on the model.
