Telegram roasts its own developers over Mini App names
A cheeky product update from Telegram's official account drew about 5,900 likes.
Telegram's official account (@telegram) posted Monday that Mini App names can now end in "gay", "or agent, ai, app, game or bot if you're boring I guess." It drew about 5,900 likes.
The post is a product update about which name endings Mini Apps are allowed to use, delivered as a joke at the expense of the many apps named with the usual suffixes.
Why it mattersIt is a rare case of a big platform poking fun at the wave of 'ai' and 'agent' branding, and the tone landed with users.
